Why we cover outer areas
Most driving schools in this part of Queensland work out of Gympie, Maryborough, Hervey Bay or Kingaroy, and stay near town. If you live at Bauple, Curra, Tiaro or anywhere between them, getting a lesson has meant organising a lift into town first — which is often the reason learners out here take years to get their hours up.
Outerlimits was set up to cover those areas.

Before you book
Do you really come out to rural addresses?
Yes. That is the reason the school exists. We are local to Glenwood and roughly 120km around and travel out to students that other schools will not service. If you are unsure whether your address is covered, ring and ask.
Do you teach manual?
No. Outerlimits teaches in an automatic only at this stage.
How do logbook hours work in Queensland?
If you are under 25 you need 100 hours of supervised driving before your practical test, including 10 hours at night. One hour with an accredited instructor is recorded as three logbook hours, capped at 10 instructor hours — so 30 of your 100 can come from lessons.
Night lessons are the exception. A lesson after sunset counts as either triple time or night hours, not both.
Which test centres do you cover?
We cover Gympie, Maryborough and Kingaroy test centers. Tell us which one you plan to test at and your traffic training will be run in that town, on the roads the assessor may take you on.
What happens if I need to cancel?
Cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before your lesson. Inside 24 hours, get in touch as early as you can — most lessons involve a drive out to you, so the earlier we know, the better.
